It doesn't guess; it's the provably optimal arrangement for your inputs, and it shows the leverage (e.g. 6 leave days → 24 days off, 4×).

A bridge is a working day sitting between two days off — take it and two short breaks merge into one long one. Take the Monday between a weekend and a Tuesday holiday and you get a four-day break for a single leave day. We list these separately so you can grab extra ones when you have flexibility.
